I was invited into the Blakeslee household to photograph the newest member and he put up a massive fight. When I arrived, Wyatt was super sleepy and let me wrap him up right off the bat. I started with his 20 month old sister and snuggles for their sibling shots, which couldn’t have gone better. Not even age two yet, Viv listens like a freaking champ. We got her full cooperation in holding her new bro, but we also got some bonus shots of her licking him when we asked for kisses. Haha!

At 15 days new, Dario came to see me for his newborn session. BK and Bianca were nervous that their little guy would put up a fight for his session. Bianca even doubted the session would happen at all! Dario doesn’t cry much, but he’s great at complaining with his little baby grunts. He never really fell into a deep sleep, so any time I changed his wrap he was sure to tell me all about how I was disrupting him. But he was sleepy enough to relax into his poses after I got him wrapped up and cozy, and he and I got along pretty great during the session.

My husband and Urijah’s Uncle are buds from grade school, and I’ve been Photographing Kevin, Miranda and Wynette since Winnie was as teeny as Urijah is! I was so excited when Miranda got a hold of me for her second pregnancy!! Urijah was a complete surprise, and what an adorable one. :)
