Simple Newborn Girl | Georgina

2020 was the year of unique names; say hello to Georgina!

The session started off per usual, wrapping up this sweet little girl to coordinate with her stunning parents and adorable brother for family and individual shots.

Georgina’s session was so fun. She was unsettled for a big portion of it in the middle, but that just means I got to talk with Scott and Lisa more than usual, as I worked to sooth their baby. Their older son, Adrian, told me about all of his hobbies, school, games, even showed me some karate moves during his baby sister’s feeds. Lisa and I discussed whether I should used flokati [a faux fur backdrop]- she said no and I threatened to fight her on it, but having Georgina awake and cluster feeding, the opportunity never arose to use it. SO, mom won. ;]

Finally, Little Georgina fell into a deep sleep and I got to work transitioning her into different poses on an ivory backdrop with dainty tie backs and simple details that contrasted her dark hair beautifully.

Even though this session was on the more difficult side, I enjoyed it and this family so, so much. Scott, Lisa, Adrian and their newest addition are so authentic and kind! Congratulations to The Barton Family!!
