Smash + Splash Session | Carnival Theme

Smash and Splash Sessions are the perfect way to celebrate your one year old. I mean what a year, right? Through all the “what do I do’s”, the mornings that seem like they come too early and every battle we face in our first year of motherhood [no matter your tenure], this is a celebration for you, too. For every accomplishment, every time you went with your gut and won, every cuddle and coo, every amazing milestone… there’s nothing like year one. Those wins and moments are why I love making these session what they are, and having fun while we do it!

This theme request was the first of its kind. Maddy had the cutest carnival-themed shoot, and the whole session was full of color, fun, and giggles. With a backdrop from Fancy Fabric & props, we were able to bring the idea to life with vibrant colors, festive carnival details, and the cutest purple tulle dress. Every little piece came together to create a magical moment for the birthday girl [and big sis who jumped in for some cake too!].

Maddy didn't love her smash cake quite as much as her big sister did (no face first cake smashing this time!), but she still had a blast. Maddy quickly noticed the popcorn sprinkled throughout the set and was all smiles, while trying a new snack to nibble on. Every little one’s smash cake session is so unique and that’s what makes them so special!
