You’re likely here because you are growing your family, for the first time or more, and want nothing more than to capture every single milestone possible for moments to hold onto for a lifetime. You want images that will leave an impact on your family for many generations and support a legacy for your growing family.
It is my mission to do all of that and more with clean, timeless and emotional images; all while feeling like you’ve brought a dear friend into the intimate joys of welcoming your newest child or documenting your family.
I am so passionate about photographs linking us to our sweetest moments in life. It is my goal to serve you by providing intimate, extraordinary and affordable experiences.

Booking
I hope to answer any questions before they come up, but any & all questions are welcome at any point during our interactions with one another!
The process of inquiring for your specific session, will lead you here, to my pricing guide, where you can choose the session that bests suits your family’s needs. I am not limited to talking pricing and packages… I would love to really know you. There’s nothing like mom friends.
Once we decide on a collection that best suits your needs, you will receive an e-mail containing your electronic contract for each of us to sign, as well as an itemized invoice that shows a breakdown of payments and their due dates. From there, we will choose tentative date[s] for your session[s] within 7 days of your estimated due date.
The Session
All session dates are tentative and are likely to have a date change according to baby’s arrival. Once baby is born, we will confirm our session date within 14 days of their birth [preferred by 10 days new]. Then, 48 hours prior to your newborn’s session, you’ll receive a prep guide sharing what to do in the hours at home leading up to your session to ensure a sleepy babe. You’ll also receive a separate questionnaire to allow you to include any special requests you may have for your session. All of the details for your session will have been worked out in the days leading up to it, so that the day of, is all about relaxing & getting you the images you dream of!
Every newborn session at my studio is 2 to 3 hours long, all depending on the cooperation of baby and which collection you choose.
During your session, parents have a space to sit and relax while your baby’s session takes place. Clients are encouraged to “ooh” and “aww” and take behind the scenes photos.
Quality Images + Products
Following your session, you will receive a proof gallery of the images will be unedited. Each collection offers digital images, and the proof gallery is where you choose the select amount for the collection you booked. There is opportunity to buy more [or all of them].
Each image in your final gallery will be hand picked as your personal favorites and will be edited with a light, natural & timeless style and very high attention to detail.
Once you have selected your favorite images for your gallery, please allow up to 3 weeks for the final editing process. After your gallery is completed, you will receive a detailed e-mail, walking you through how to access your online viewing gallery and how to download your images along with the contract for print release.

Booking + Policies
Retainer
$100 non refundable retainer and electronic signing of contract is required with in 48 hours of receiving invoice and contract e-mails, in order to finalize the booking process. A session date will not be held until the retainer is received and the contract is signed. Prices are subject to change. Contractual agreement locks client in at prices during booking process. Additional products or services offered may be added on at the time of booking in order to lock in product prices.
Payment
Full payment must be made on or by the date of the session; accept payments by cash, check [made out to Christie Leigh] or credit card directly through your invoice. Payment plans available upon request.
Session guidelines
All newborn sessions are photographed during on weekdays, not after 12 pm. In cases where a family pose is included and one partner or spouse has to return back work right away, the family portion only may be scheduled at a time separate from the newborn portion, that works best with everyone’s schedules.
Cancellation
Any retainer or additional payments made towards a session booked with Christie Leigh Photo are non-refundable. In case of cancellation, the photographer must be notified at least 24 hours before of the scheduled session. Previous payments will be applied to a newly rescheduled session within 10 days of the original session date. [Mini sessions require 48 hour cancellation notice and are not rescheduled.]
Multiple Photography team
We are a photography team made up of multiple photographers. Christie is our owner specializing in newborns, babies and families and is the sole newborn photographer. Erika is our lead photographer specializing in babies, birthdays and families and is our sole smash and splash session [birthday] photographer. All other sessions are booked by priority/availability of our photographers, or per special requests from our clients.
Post-production
Please allow up to 3 weeks for the selection/editing process. USB drives will be mailed out once the editing process is complete. Client’s viewing gallery will be posted with all edited images. Client will be notified with detailed instructions on how to access and order images. [Galleries are live for 30 days.]
Copyright
In booking your session with Christie Leigh Photo, the client is agreeing the images may be used in any way deemed fit, buy the photographer, for business, marketing, website, social media, print, promotional events etc. Unless the client submits a written statement refusing the images be used for any marketing purposes.
Travel Policy
Travel for any session over 60 miles from Cortland, OH is $100. Travel over 100 miles from Cortland, OH is an additional 50 cents per mile. Sessions held at specifically requested locations are subject to travel fees, per the mileage guidelines.
