NES Slotmaster Flex
The NES Slotmaster is a replacement 72 pin connector project for Front Loading NES Consoles. This version of the Slotmaster is exclusive to Laser Bear Industries. It uses a custom single piece flexible PCB, we also include our custom cam actuated ejector mechanism, this allows for the removal of games by pressing an eject button. The full mechanism sits inside the case with the top door closed. We developed these changes after discovering issues with the original design. Our updates were developed independently in house without access to source files, they are not available in the open source design. Some games have a compatibility issue due to how they were manufactured, these games have short pins (see the image above) that are unable to make adequate contact with the connector to boot.
